Algo Rytm is a Deep, Soulful and Afro House Producer and DJ based in Basel, Switzerland. With a very sophisticated sound, his music goes from calming and soulful Sunset vibes into very energized and danceable Club Grooves, depending on the requirements of place, time and occasion.

As an experienced dancer, he developed an energetic and confident stage presence and an outstanding hearing. He loves dancing and connecting with the crowd in a very playful way. When Algo Rytm plays, you can expect an exquisite music selection and smooth transitions with juicy Bass drops. Definitely a delicious treat for the soul!

Born and raised in a small Brazilian town, he grew up listening to a lot of MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira), where he developed his taste for soulful and melodic music. In 2004 he moved to Switzerland, where his artistic journey as a dancer started, after falling in love with Hip Hop, R&B, and House Music. For many years, he helped to build and grow the Swiss Dance Scene and Community as founder and organizer of "International Impact Dance Camp", Switzerland’s biggest Street Dance Festival until this date.

 

He started his Path as A DJ and Producer with a colorful blend of dancefloor and lounge friendly sounds, influenced by a wide range of Black-Music genres such as Hip Hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Dancehall, Baile Funk and House and played on the greatest Events of his City such as the Legendary “Block Party” by Goldfinger Brothers and “Coruba” by Classilisque and Bazooka at Viertel Club, to name a few.

 In 2019 he discovered the South African electronic music, which had a huge impact on his career and sonic signature. From there on, he moved further and further towards House Music and in October 2021 he released his first EP "DEEP ISLAND" with 5 original songs.

He is very committed to his career. He is currently completing a professional Audio Engineering Education provided by HOFA College in Germany is constantly working on his craft as a music creator, DJ and Mixing Engineer.
